Self-Leveling Pool Deck Joint Sealant
Clarification
HS-1 SL is a ane-part, self-leveling hybrid sealant, adult with silyl-modified polymer (SMP) technology. It cures under the influence of atmospheric moisture to form a medium modulus sealant with excellent adhesive backdrop and resistance to ageing and weathering.
USES
HS-1 SL can be used in movement and contraction joints. Ideal applications include indoor and outdoor pool decks subject to pedestrian traffic.

APPLICATION
Surface Preparation … Surfaces must exist clean, gratuitous of oil, grease or rust and of sound quality. Remove all loose particles or residues with a jet of compressed air, sandpaper, or hard castor. Glass, metal, and other non-porous surfaces must exist free of whatsoever coatings and wiped clean with solvent.
Priming … For optimum adhesion and/or joints over ane″ (25.4 mm) in width, REZI-WELD™ LV from W. R. MEADOWS is recommended.
Joint Sizes … Proper joint design practices and awarding techniques must exist followed for successful performance. DECK-O-FOAM ® , or KOOL-ROD™, or KOOL-ROD SOFT from W. R. MEADOWS may be used equally a joint backing material to control sealant depth and provide proper joint configuration. For larger joints, use a non-asphalt joint filler, such every bit CORK EXPANSION Joint from Due west. R. MEADOWS, in the articulation before sealing.
